Cellar door re-opens

After a wonderful 2 month break Nick and I are rested and ready to re-open our cellar door from this weekend. We will be open every weekend and public holiday from 11am-4pm in the cottage at the bottom of the vineyard at 558 Peters Creek Road, Kuitpo.

Cellar door open for Anzac Day

The Top Note cellar door will be open this Tuesday for Anzac Day. Home baked Anzac biscuits with every tasting.
Easter Hours
11th April 2017
Last year vintage was almost over by Easter. This year we will be in the thick of it. To add to the fun Cate is in final rehearsals for Cavalleria Rusticana with the State Opera. I'm afraid we decided opening for Good Friday and Easter Monday as well was just a bit much! We'll be open as usual on Saturday the 15th and Sunday the 16th April. Wishing everyone a safe and happy Easter.
Cellar door winter break

Please note that our cellar door will be closed in June and July to allow us time for a well-earned break. We look forward to seeing you in August.
Public Holidays
8th March 2016
There is no such thing as a public holiday for us during vintage! We are picking all day on Monday the 14th March so won't be manning cellar door. We'll also be closed on Good Friday, but will be open on Easter Monday and Anzac Day.
Top Note Opens Cellar Door

Be it ever so humble there is no place better than our new cellar door to treat yourself to some cool climate wines on a hot summer day. We open on the 16th January and will have four wines on tasting including a new vintage of our lovely sticky, a classy cool climate Chardonnay and a 2015 Merlot - along with that divine 2013 Pinot Noir. Halliday awards the 2013 Pinot Noir 91 points

After a great start scoring 90 for our Semillon Rosé last year we are thrilled to receive 91 this year for our 2013 Pinot Noir from the guru of Australian wine writers. Halliday writes "Deep crimson-purple,this is (in pinot terms) a medium to fullbodied wine, with plum and black cherry fruit staying within the bounds of varietal expression. Smart packaging is a plus."
Semillon Rosé at Adelaide's Top Restaurant

We're happy to announce that our Semillon Rosé is on as the dessert match at Rundle Street restaurant Orana, the recent winner of the Advertiser Food Awards top restaurant.
Community Fair Cancelled

As we grape growers know only too well, you just can't control the weather. Can:Do 4 Kids have been advised to cancel today's Community Fair due to winds in excess of 100km/hour. Our Pinot is now available on our wines page and the Wine Region hope to have a Spring Releases replacement event in the near future. Watch this space.
