8^th February 2018

On Sunday the 11th Cellar Door will be closing at 3pm as we start our Something Sweet launch party for the new dessert wine release. Apologies to those of you who missed out on tickets. This event is sold out.

5^th January 2018

Tomorrow (Saturday the 6th January) looks like it will be rated as a Catastrophic Fire Danger day. As such we will be closing cellar door. We will re-open as usual on Sunday. Come and see us and stay safe meanwhile.

6^th December 2017

Top Note is heading to Morphettville Racecourse this Saturday to take part in the Adelaide Hills Wine Region Race Day. We'll be cheering on the horses in the Top Note Vineyard Handicap at 4:21pm. As such we'll be forced to close cellar door on Saturday and serve wine at the racecourse instead. Feel free to join us or come by on Sunday instead to hear all about it.

It seems odd to be working on Labour Day which is all about reducing work hours but regardless Nick and I will be manning cellar door this coming Monday. If you feel like celebrating your day off come and visit us for a tasting. Booked appointments can purchase a regional platter to go with the tasting. Just email Cate at cate@topnote.com.au .

We are thrilled to announce that we have yet again scored well in the latest round of James Halliday ratings. Nick again scored 94 for the 2015 Block 4 Shiraz, whilst his 2015 Cabernet scored 92, the 2015 Pinot 91 and the (yet to be released) 2016 Chardonnay 89.

4^th August 2017

After a wonderful 2 month break Nick and I are rested and ready to re-open our cellar door from this weekend. We will be open every weekend and public holiday from 11am-4pm in the cottage at the bottom of the vineyard at 558 Peters Creek Road, Kuitpo.

The Top Note cellar door will be open this Tuesday for Anzac Day. Home baked Anzac biscuits with every tasting.

11^th April 2017

Last year vintage was almost over by Easter. This year we will be in the thick of it. To add to the fun Cate is in final rehearsals for Cavalleria Rusticana with the State Opera. I'm afraid we decided opening for Good Friday and Easter Monday as well was just a bit much! We'll be open as usual on Saturday the 15th and Sunday the 16th April. Wishing everyone a safe and happy Easter.
